Indian state-run steelmaking and mining company Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), also known as Vizag Steel, has announced that it has achieved another significant milestone as its blast furnace No. 3 has produced in excess of its designed daily output capacity.
The blast furnace No. 3 has produced 7,155 mt of pig iron against the designed capacity of 7,150 mt per day, marking a major step forward in the company's plans to expand steelmaking capacity to 6.3 million mt per year.
